Fantastic news from our Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard! She announced on X this afternoon (8/19/2025) that the security clearances of 37 current and former intelligence officials have been revoked due to their involvement in the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. Long overdue, but better late than never.

Last year, a DC area attorney involved in investigations on the weaponization of the federal government told me that there are probably at least 300 federal government officials (both current and former) who should be prosecuted for various federal crimes violating the rights of Donald Trump and individuals associated with President Trump, including General Michael Flynn, Carter Page, George Papadopoulos, Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, Jeff Clark, Peter Navarro, and many others. So, it is welcome news that Director Gabbard is finally announcing actions against 37 members of the “deep state” intelligence community linked to the fabricated Trump-Russia collusion hoax.

I suspect that Director Gabbard’s latest announcement still represents only the early stages of investigations into the deep political corruption within the intelligence agencies that has transpired over the course of the past decade — basically starting with Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign against candidate Donald Trump in 2016, but continuing with the attempted political destruction of the first Trump presidency and Trump’s subsequent second presidential campaign. The ODNI has been making criminal referrals to the DOJ. It will be interesting to see the extent of criminal charges that Attorney General Pam Bondi may issue against a long list of alleged conspirators.

Here’s the full text of Director Gabbard’s X announcement, which attaches her official ODNI memo on the subject. The memo provides the names of the 37 officials who have had their clearances revoked:

“Being entrusted with a security clearance is a privilege, not a right. Those in the Intelligence Community who betray their oath to the Constitution and put their own interests ahead of the interests of the American people have broken the sacred trust they promised to uphold. In doing so, they undermine our national security, the safety and security of the American people and the foundational principles of our democratic republic.

This is why, at @POTUS’ direction, @ODNIgov directed the revocation of the security clearances of 37 current and former intelligence professionals who have abused the public trust by politicizing and manipulating intelligence, leaking classified intelligence without authorization, and/or committing intentional egregious violations of tradecraft standards.

Our Intelligence Community must be committed to upholding the values and principles enshrined in the US Constitution and maintain a laser-like focus on our mission of ensuring the safety, security and freedom of the American people.”
