“How the Fed Failed to Achieve its Mandate of Stable Prices” with Thomas Hogan
AIER’s Bastiat Society program in Washington, DC and Students for Liberty will co-sponsor a special in-person event with Thomas Hogan, Senior Research Faculty at the American Institute for Economic Research (AIER).
Price inflation is now at a 40-year high in the United States and has become the main economic concern for the average American. Thomas Hogan will examine the root causes of inflation and how political considerations, such as climate change and income inequality, have distracted the Federal Reserve in carrying out its legally mandated goals of maximum employment and stable prices.
Eventbrite registration is required to attend, register here. Admission fee is $16 (only $10 for full-time students). Light food and beverages will be provided. Cash payments at the door are not accepted.
